Background Information: June 15th 2004 (280lbs)- I decided to lose some weight. By December 2004 I was at 180lbs and 13% body fat. Since then I have been trying to put on some mass. Currently, I am up to 190lbs and probably around 14-15% bf.
I really haven’t heard anything bad about trying to gain mass over a long period of time, but I still have some abdominal fat and also around my rear obliques. Not rediculasly bad, but I notice it, and I think thats enough.
The Question: Will trying to shed a few pounds for 6 weeks effect my progress drastically? Is it practical to drop 5% bf in 6 weeks?
As far as my workouts…I lift MWF early AM. One hour, Alternate between Workout A and Workout B over two weeks.

Squats
Deadlifts
Barbell Lunges
Barbell Bicep Curls (Palms Down)
Dumbbell Hammer Curls
Narrow Pull Ups
Some Abs
Workout B:
Dumbbell Bench Press - Superset w/Pushups off swiss ball
Dumbbell Incline Bench Press
Tricep Extensions
Cable Rows
Wide Grip Chinups
Some Abs
Week One:
Mon - A
Wed - B
Fri - A
Week Two:
Mon - B
Wed - A
Fri - B
Diet:
5am - Kashi Waffles + Nutty PB + Banana
9am - PWO Shake
10am - Hi Carb Snack + Shake
12pm - Yogurt + Granola
2pm - Oriental Chicken Salad
5pm - Carrots + Almonds
8pm - Usually Grilled Chicken or Fish With Veggies
11pm - Protein Shake
