Suggested Layoff Period for Rest and Recovery?

how often do you or what are your recommendations for a layoff period from your routines…i.e, a week a year, a week every 90 days,
Or is it just how your body feels, (joints, muscles) is when you make a decision to do a layoff

In my Opinion, a layoff isn’t something you really schedule, it more so just happens. Like a vacation, a hectic week at home/work. Fate will pick your layoff, basically.

I used to do a layoff week at the completion of a program, but now I feel like I manage recovery well enough where I don’t feel I need one.

I’d say that every 60 to 90 days, take a week off.
