Substitute Excercises?

The last time I tried a program that used Decline bench pullovers I had actually setting them up / doing them at my gym. I’m looking at trying Tsunami training by TC and wanted to find another alternative to this exercise. Any ideas out there? Also a Zottman curl… what exactly is the difference between it and a bicep curl?

Don’t know on the first question, but a Zottman curl is like a regular curl except you use an over hand grip on the bar… much harder! You will have to start a lot lighter then when you do a regular curl.

My understanding of the Zottman is a little differant. The concentric portion is performed as with a normal dumbell curl. At the top, the dumbell is rotated inward (toward your body) 90 degrees untill your hand is in a hammer position (thumb up) at this point the dumbell is lowered (eccentric emphasized). I’ve also seen them performed with a 180 degree rotation (thumb facing body) but I don’t know that this is a real Zottman curl.

I’m not familar with the program you mention, but standing, stiff-arm pulldowns might have the same training effect.
