Stupid Question About ABBH

Hey guys, I’m new here (and generally a weight-training novice) and was wondering if someone could help me clarify something about ABBH:

Should Day 1 only involve two lifts (one chest, one back, with 10 sets of each)? I guess I originally understood it to mean that you could do any number of compound lifts, so long as you did 10 sets total per muscle group (not per lift).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Two (2) lifts, 10x3 each.

That will be more than enough, trust me.

Awesome–thanks for the response.

Hey!
I just finished ABBH1 and am starting ABBH2.
I loved it, and since i am a relative newbie ( i spent 7 months prior to ABBH “learning” my way about the gym) i experienced the most unbelievable results.

If you have any more questions, i would be glad to answer them, from my limited experience.

Enjoy!!!

I am finishing my third week of ABBH now. Doing the program to the letter (60 second rests and all) is a humbling experience. The 5x10 dip/chin days are devestating as well as 5x10 front squats. Stick to the program, it will do you well.

yeah i have a question if you dont mind answering… Im on day 11 and enjoying the workouts very much.

Tomorrow it says im doing dips and chins ups. the first day i did this workout i did them with my plams facing outward (away from me) but i’ve read in the ABBH thread and chad said to do them w/ palms facing toward you.

Did i read this right? Should i do them with palms facing me from now on? thanks>SERD

no, you definitely read correctly.
When doing the chin-ups, your palms should be facing you.
