Stuff from Australia...

So guys, what kind of cool stuff do you have? No I’m not talking about HIV or Fritzl’s torture dungeons.

I recently started purchasing a brand of canned tuna called G’day. It is by far the finest canned tuna in existence.

If used properly it can be dumped on top of a pile of greens and the juices in the tuna are better tasting than any salad dressing.

Here is the tuna. It’s 2$ a can but it is the BOMB!

Do you ozzies eat it?

So what other good shit from Oz should I buy?

I might be a little ignorant when it comes to Tuna (I’m happy with the type I buy) but I have actually never seen that where I do my grocery shopping. I’ll have look out for it next time. It might be like the 1 litre Fosters cans I saw in the states in 2002. I’m still yet to see one in Australia!

Uhhhhhh why is that a picture of Africa??

And Fritzl is from Austria… I don’t get it.

Lol, it was a subtle troll-job, but the tuna is for real. G’day is to regular tuna as regular tuna is to cat food. It is seriously awesome. I usually eat the “Tomato Onion” or the “Hot Pepper” variety.

I’m wondering what other goodness Oz has to offer.

BeeBuddy,

Have you ever tried Vegemite? (a bit obvious i guess) it is yummy ! I have not seen that brand of Tuna dwon here yet, i only eat greenseas tuna as it is normally on special for 99c a can !

We also have some top notch rum…Bundaberg Rum which is not very nutritional but VERY tasty and is generally consumed when kicking back and watching some rugby.
Let me think on this some more…We are a bit slower down here

Vegemite = Ghey

Marmite ftw.

I actually grew up in London (til I was 4) and we used to eat ‘marmite’ I think it was called. It’s yeast paste right?

New Zealand = Ghey

Now thats been taken care of lets talk vegemite. If u guys in the states decide to try some dont smother it on like u do with all your other spreads. just a very light spread is all that is needed. It is very tasty.

To the OP

What have OZ got to offer?

*Best beaches in the world

*Canberra-hate the place but where else is it legal to buy porn and fireworks.

*Great weather-lots of sunshine.hell 85% of my state is in drought,so u get heaps of great weather.

*Not many people-we are bigger that the united states but only have 18 million people. So alot of places are nice and quiet…if u like the quiet that is.

*Safe-we have gun laws so its a pretty non violent place to visit. Most people are nice and laid back and friendly .

I do like the idea of beaches and and low population, but porn, violence, and fireworks I could never give up.

If you like low populations never move to New Zealand aprt from being Ghey, there are more sheep than people…Isn’t that right Makavali…

Although have to agree with Mak on the whole marmite thing.
See i hit submit and then think of something else…

We have females in power. Granted, they’re not attractive or good at their job…

Shit.

I see the IQ over the ditch is as high as ever…

:stuck_out_tongue:

I still love travelling and always will, but living abroad for the past year has confirmed Australia really is the “lucky country”, best place on earth and only place I’d consider living from now on.
