Whether or not I can get over the fear of gaining fat is speculation, I honestly don’t know. I guess time will tell. Im don’t agree with the looking for approval comment though. In my first post I guessed I would get torn apart - im just looking for advice.
Just get it right in your head now. If you really want to get big I’d just accept: ‘hey i will probably gain some fat along the way, but if thats what it takes to reach my goals, you better be sure i’m gonna get through this’.
You’ve just cut 11% BF for christ sake, so you know even if you go overboard with your gain you’re capable of getting it back down while keeping the NEW muscle!
My comment about fishing for comments was not actually directly aimed at you, just a generalisation.
Again, this is all just my opinion, and the way I would look at things if I were you.

Slightly off track, but I often think people post their pictures looking for compliments and when they receive criticism they react to it as they think they know better and probably think they look pretty good.

This is exactly what happened to the thread. Everyone has achievements that they can be proud of but if you’re coming to a forum board to ask a question you’d think people would stop to listen to all the advice then decide what to do next rather than dismiss something openly. Good observation.

You should check out his thread in the T-cell and try and take in just how much he eats all the time (particularly after a workout). As far as I’m aware he’s never had a “cutting” cycle either.

Yeah, but the point is, they will literally IGNORE shit from other people but act like I need a law firm to go over every post just so some jackass doesn’t try jump in just to say, “HA, Professor X was wrong about something!!”.
If it wasn’t so freaking obvious, I wouldn’t be writing this.
Most of the people here are not making much progress but they have the ballz to argue against people who have for no reason.
