functional gains be dammed,all i want for christmas is structural gains.
Enough of my rambling, with summer fast approaching in my home land of australia im trying to put together a Structural(hypertrophy) program.My strength at the moment is the last thing on my mind.
Being 6,4 230 pounds my training has focused on low rep high weight training for the past 4 or so years,ive got a hell of a lot stronger but not putting on enough muscle mass for my liking,im on berardi’s massive eating so nutrition wise im on track ,but now just looking for a change of pace.Ive read all of CW and CT’s work,so ive done some reasearch.
So im thinking of training either 1 bodypart per day with high sets and reps eg 16-20 sets 8-10 reps
or training each bodypart twice a week
eg 8 sets 8-10 reps
does anyone else have much success with these high volume programs?
I have a feeling this could get flamed,but hey i had to get it off my chest
