Strongman in the Making

Sup Guys,

Looking to start doing some strongman training/comps this year so after any advice or tips you all have??

I’ve been lifting casually for a year but would like to step it up now!

Current stats:

BW - 82kgs
Bench - 100kgs
Dead Lift - 135kgs
Front Squat - 100kgs
MP-72kgs

not the best but i think with a year of solid training i can make some pretty big improvements on them. Not entirely sure where to start though…

Your best bet would be to find a local contest or training group so that you can give it a try.

I assume that you are from Europe since you posted the weights in Kg’s; you might want to google search for some local contests and look up the names of the competitors. Find them on Facebook or another resource to see where they train and find out if there are any events coming up.
