Really great stuff.
Do you think that the really early bed time and early start help with energy/overall progress?

Ya know, it’s one of those things I ended up doing more out of necessity than choice, but now, even if I can stay up late and sleep in, I still go to bed early and get up early. I like starting my day that way, and since I just woke up, I am not beat down from the day and can just give it my all. It also means I can get all my carbs knocked out first thing and focus on proteins, fats and veggies for the rest of the day, AND I find it makes me a better competitor since I am so used to training groggy and on little food that, once I sleep in and get a few good meals in me, I can really rock.
As far as energy goes, I don’t feel different one way or the other really. I still hit that daily energy drink, going for a rockstar over a monster if I am really hurting, but otherwise I keep a pretty similar baseline. The only time I really felt the impact was recovering from surgery and still trying to train. That was a rough week; I was constantly exhausted.
Kind of rambling response. To sum up, I think there are a lot of benefits to early morning training. I don’t necessarily get more energy from it, but I still prefer it to the alternative.
Interesting. Yeah I presumed due to work hours but sounds like a good routine
