First time I’m aware that you have a log and you’re doing Crossfit?!?!
Haha just teasing
You didn’t know what a tabata was? And that was the first tabata that you’ve ever done? Ha! I don’t envy you.
You made me laugh like, 8 times already so I’ll be following.
Im old when I was your age we were doing 100 rep straight programs. And technically I am only doing Crossfit one day a week. PLUS I do 5/3/1 4 days a week. So please dont make fun of me.
They said I did good for my first time, I didnt puke or quit. I averaged at least 5 reps a excercise for all the rounds.
You’re trying to make me feel bad for a joke?
Tough crowd
I was saying that the tabatas were good, my first one were just squat thrusts, with 5 lb DBs.
Not trying to make you feel bad, I am just kind of embarrassed for doing it.
Why are you embarrassed?
Crossfit is just conditioning, and anyone who makes fun of you for do conditioning work sounds like they need to do conditioning.
I think X-fit just gets a bad rap because people make it their sole source of training. Therefore, the Crossfit bad rap doesn’t apply to you.
Oh, and I said that I laughed because I like the “Need to be a fucking accountant” bit :D
Nikki most of the guys in the over 35 are PL’rs and strongmen. So hence my embarrassment.
I agree that X-Fit is not the end all to be all, I was just telling my wife for all around health you need a little bit of it all. I have goals for DL and Squat that will never change, now I just want to do it at a lower weight.
I dont know how those guys keep up with the reps in their head, I normally cant count higher than 5 reps. But I’m from Tennessee so that may have something to do with it, I can only count to 21.
