Strongest Guy on My Block, The Return

Well honestly I didnt really impress myself with the TGU, cause first time to do them. So I went light. I have only seen it done with kettle bells but yes they suck.

There was a period of time(summer 07) when I did them because no one else was doing them. I think I would have been better off doing traditional core work.

The only reason,I feel, anyone mentions or suggests the get ups is to prove they know lots of variations for training every bodypart.

Good point and was talking to the trainer yesterday, his view is that he throws them in every 4 months or so for variation. Like you he likes the tradition core training more frequently.
