For time 20:40 fucking running carrying a medicine ball is a not as easy as it may sound. First time ever I actually had to walk cause I thought I was going to fucking die.
How do you have to carry the medicine ball. Can you one arm it or do you have to hold it infront of you?
Once while camping I ran a couple of miles with a full milk jug in one hand. That sucked balls.
Joe I was running with it on my right shoulder, then left shoulder, then in front of me, I was sweating like a MF. Even at 5:30 in the morning here it is hot and muggy.
I would carry it like a waiter carry on the shoulder, then like a fireman carry on the shoulder, then in front of me like an atlas stone. Just couldnt catch my breath carrying the fucker.
Thursday heavy day
Front Squat Warm up (also ran 400 meter, stretching, foam rolling)
135 X 3 X 5
185 X 2 X 5
Working set
225 X 2 X 5
245 X 1 X 3
255 X 1 X 1
275 X 1 X 1
295 X 1 X 1 missed
185 X 1 X 10
Man DJ can’t imagine carrying a med ball that far, at the end it probably felt like a Buick.
Have you gotten 295 FS before or were you seeking a PR? Either way good session.
I have FS 295 before, but it was when I was over eating and weighed 25 pounds more. I think if I had tried this tomorrow would have gotten it, but back is still sore from Tuesdays DL. Still felt pretty good.
Nice training. I was over on the strongman forum and saw your sweat tire. You been flipping it? I’ve got one thats around 5’ tall and weighs 300-350 (I think). A little light for me but I use it for reps (its been awhile).

Thanks has been awhile, kind of in the groove right now with the working out with the wife. To me I have all this equipment, its paid off and it is not going any where, you never know where life is going to go. But I am prepared to always be able to work out rain or shine and that is my goal.
Havnt seen you in a while how you been?

I’ve been great, thanks. Works been real busy so I don’t get to surf everyones threads like I used to (which sucks). After reading about your tire I’ve got the itch to flip mine. Hitting it today after work.
Every time I come home from work I see the tire under the cover and want to flip it. I guess it is something very masculine or rewarding about flipping a tire.

My wife has this 1980 Chevy Blazer she wants to fix up, I just want it out of my garage so there is room for a tire. Well tonight it’s going to my cousins house to have a new engine dropped in and the process of fixing what ever other problems it has. My hope is that, that SOB is gone for good (doubt it)and I can get a tire in the newly opened garage stall. Wish me luck!
Good luck, however I have a feeling the wife will win in this situation and the blazer will return.
Mine is on the side of the house with a car cover over it, that is always an option also.
Had actually been thinking about just keeping one in the back yard, the kid can play on it when I’m not flipping it. That’s going to take a little more convencing but it just might work. We’ll see.
Or you could also do what I did, beg for forgiveness instead of permission.
If it is in the back yard well its already there. But honestly unless you want to flip something that collects rain water, standing it up with a car cover is the way to go.
