Stronger Than All 2006

Lou, thanks man. Just as you do, I have respect for anyone who steps up and competes. To me, that’s what it is all about. Good luck at the CT contest to you and I’m sure we’ll be competing against each other soon.

kroc, at the earliest, I’m looking at the New England’s Strongest Man in August in Boston. I know that will be a competitive show and with women nationals being held together with it, it should be good. I won’t be training strongman April through end of June, so I’ll have a good 6 weeks to get ready for it, assuming I can get off work.

Don’t know about Boston yet. Depending on how I feel (us old guys gotta rest once in awhile!!!), I may try to build on my peak and hit either VT on May 20 or Battle of the Bad Ass on the 27th. VT has strong events for me, but Ben’s shows always kick ass.
Lou - How’s the peak coming???

Lou - How’s the peak coming???
It’s going well.I competed all last year in the under 200lb and this winter during the off season put on 15. So it’s cool when you hit all new PR’s on everything.Oh,the power of food,ha.
We’ve been running all the events for the past 5 wks and everyone’s doing great.Right where we’re suppossed to be.
I do admit the chain yoke is a little funny.Especially when you try and turn it up a notch but we’ve learned you’ve gotta keep a nice a steady pace the entire course. To avoid the swaying.
Just counting down the days.Good luck and train safe and smart only 20 days left.

Yea, yoke should be interesting. Only way I can figure to come close is doing heavy walks w/405 and 100’s on a long chain on each side, and that’s definitely not going to be perfect either. Having a little trouble with the log also, but we’ll see how my press peaks in the next 3 weeks.
