Hello Christian,
I am currently following the bullet proof program and I noticed that I was stronger in terms of load and also more comfortable when the movement was unilateral (eg: one-arm Romanian dumbbell deadlift).
I am very surprised.
Do you know where this could come from?
Keep in mind that some unilateral movements still involve both sides to some extent. For example, when I was doing the 1-arm barbell power snatch I eventually worked up to 185lbs⦠which looked mighty impressive because people automatically made the calculation if he does 185lbs with one arm, he can do 370lbs with both arms⦠forgetting that both legs as well as the whole back was involved.
At the time my best power snatch (2 arms) was 265⦠pretty far from 370 ![]()
Okay I understand ![]()
In any case, itās an atypical but terribly effective (and painful) program!
