Ironmind used to sell a belt squat. I got one a few years ago, good quality. Also can be used for weighted dips & chins.

Next week I’ll start squatting in the suit. Straps down.
kp,
You seem to be getting quite strong, then I saw that you’re squatting raw and realized you’re getting very strong. Nice work, what meet are you prepping for or is this just off season/getting strong stuff.

Thanks. I try to notate when I add knee wraps, because my fed considers wraps to be geared. I am getting ready for a meet. July 30.
My new DL suit arrived today. A Velocity. I managed to get in it. Wow. It will take some work to break it in and get down to the bar. Putting it on is serious motivation to eat really, really clean.
Nice work on the leg session. That’s some serious posterior chain work.
Wow, how many suits do you have? Your closet must be packed. (For you Brits, substitute “cupboard”.)

For us ‘closets’ are something we come out of when we officially become gay, being a lesbian now i guess i can say that i am well out of the closet !!

I was under the impression you used ‘closet’ for toilet. A gay person walking out of the bathroom gives me a strange picture.
Hi KP. Sorry for the disappearing act.
My PM function no longer works (I can receive but not send) and despite several requests to have the technical team look at it, it’s still kaput.
If you still want to discuss bracket setting PM me an email addy and I will respond promptly.

Where else would a guy do his eye shadow and lippie ???
Any motivation for clean eating is a good thing.
Very nice work in here. As always!

I have a pretty serious posterior chain to work.
Interesting turn of conversation here. I should say that I’m very open-minded about sexual orientation.
Hey snap, I need to get started on RDL’s with my new program. It looks like you are doing RDLs at less than half your conventional. Where do you advise I start? btw, I think your posterior chain is doing fine! ![]()
My apologies if i am pulling your excellent thread off in the wrong direction, it’s usually a difference in the use of words and expressions on either side of the big pond.

Are you familiar with the move? I could meet you at the gym and help you answer this question if you want. Otherwise, I’d do trial and error to figure out where to start based on how many reps your program prescribes.
Breaking in the new custom shirt.
Lesson learned for the day: Do not catch an excessive amount of rays the day before you have to start breaking in a new bench shirt. Serious pain.

7/55
5/60
3/65
3/75

3/90 (2 reps to three boards + 1 rep to two boards) in shirt with no belt
3/100 " "
2/110 to two boards
1/115 to two boards (belt)
x/115 to one board . . . couldn’t touch
Reverse Band Raw CGB to Two Boards
5/150
5/155

Seated row, cable tricep pushdown, planks, and eight chinups.

Let me know how the Velocity treats you, are you going to pull cdl or sumo with it? I’m following another gal who just got a Velocity, she said the legs were really really tight, but had to have the hips taken in a little. She got the same size as her Super centurion but fit was different.
I’m not getting any more gear until next year but still on the lookout for opinions, I tried a Inzer dl suit but didn’t get anything at all out of it, could have been a bit big.
Your hands are way too wide on the sumo
