Looking good for your meet snap.
You have the best pre-lift routine ever.

Good lifting, snapper.
So how do the firemen like having a gal around who’s in as good shape as them?

I’ll find out tomorrow when I report for work.
So I did some flat bench today. Then tons of rowing-type movements and isolated cuff stuff. It’s my least favorite workout of the week but oh so necessary. I’ve been thinking a lot about tomorrow night, when I will try to max out my squat in gear. It should be an interesting experience and give me a good idea of what my third squat attempt will be at the meet.
Here’s a nice quote that I came upon. I am such a goal-oriented person (eyes on the prize) that I often struggle with enjoying the journey.
“Mountains are the means, the man is the end. The goal is not to reach the tops of mountains but to improve the man.”

FIREMEN.
MAXED OUT SQUATS. sounds like a delicious monday…ohhhh.
please report on all of the above, in detail. …with pictures and vids.
and nice quote! I do love that part about the sport–> personal accomplishment.

God, I love climbing! I’m not sure how many peaks I have left in me, but I definitely need to make it to Colorado this summer. I’ve still got a few class I and II left to bag!
What’re your coach’s plans for Nats?
can’t wait to see you tear it up at that meet, you are kicking some serious butt.

He’s doing Nats.
Okay. I’m mentally exhausted from trying to learn how to run the administrative side of a fire department. Who knew it could be so complicated? And political!
Now I gotta go max my squat. Let’s hope I perk up a bit. Time for caffeine.
Finally got to see the DL and Squat vids…DL pull was awesome and again, you’ve got more in ya for that 3rd attempt.
What was with the head/ear massage? Calming technique…lol
What suit are you wearing for DL? Do you think it helps off the floor?
