Har har. You mean blatantly ripped off from the original material. Which by the way they are going back to the source and doing another rip off with the Covenant(wonder if they will get sued again?). Anyways, I liked Underworld despite the rippage. Number 2 was better than number one.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. But even aside from her, in general, a lot of these strong characters seem to be lacking decent muscles.
How soon would American women start lifting heavy if Gorjira or AG (or take your pick of figure or BB competitors) were featured in a few flicks?

I totally forgot about her! AND she’s actually in shape compared to some of the other ‘strong’ women that’ve been listed.
More so than some of Whedon’s other strong female characters.
Also, I have to throw in Jill Wagner from the Blade series.
And there’s the skinny, yet fit Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica.
Damn, why is it hard to find actual lean, cut, strong and athletic women in movies? Characters with depth who are both strong mentally and physically? Out of all the women listed, only a few really seem to fit that description. Usually its more along the lines of strong, well done character-types played by skinny or soft looking actresses.
It shouldn’t be, but its kind of a hard list to fill. We covered most of the best examples right off!
