Random story, but that reminded me:
I was in Scotland (maybe a century ago) and some of their soldiers asked if I wanted to blow some stuff up. Of course I did. Anyway, I didnāt know how to use their stuff and they were explaining to me. I couldnāt understand, but after they repeated themselves 3 times I didnāt want to ask anymore, so I just started to do stuff slowly assuming theyād stop me if I was going to blow us up.
Iām typing this, so obviously it worked out.
Moral: subtitles!
