You can do 100, even with a full 20kg barbell, it’s absurd and hurts, badly, but just don’t put the bar down, no matter how long it takes or how much your forearms scream at you, just keep going, body English as needed. To be honest you stopped right before it gets “better” 30-45/50 sucks so bad, but hold on*, grind out and you’ll get it.

Absolute truth. Weird as hell too. You get to rep 45 or so and think “My arms are going to explode”, and then somehow you find another gear that gets you to rep 70. It’s the “portals” Jon Andersen talks about, and other folks have had other names for it, but your body basically has several governors on it to bypass.
