Strong and Conditioned (ChongLordUno)

Hooowe! Man!

I don’t think I’m even physically capable of running it up that far. On my last stress test I was running full sprint at an incline and could only get my hr. to 150.

You must have been pumping along at about 70+rpm the whole time. :+1:

Awesome work.

Mate I’m still raging that @antiquity done it at an ‘easy pace’:joy:

I was shaking when I got off the bike man

I done the first half 30 sec sprints, broke it down into 20 sec sprints after that then went tonto the last 3 minutes

Nice!

Just don’t look at @kleinhound 's log. Every time I feel pretty fast on the track, I see his times. Me: 6 min/mile pace. I’m killing it! Him: 5 min/mile pace. Multiple laps.

Look on the bright side- now you’re stronger for it! Like the first time I saw somebody pull over 600. I was like “well my 3 plates are officially crap!”.

A buddy of mine rides the rail trails from here (Pittsburgh) to Washington DC over the course of like 4 days every spring around the end of May.

Makes me sick! :joy:

That’s what I’m leaning towards too.
I like the idea of built in memory though, I assume that means you can go for a run and leave your phone at home.

How are your shoulders doing now? You’d mentioned them feeling on the edge of dodgy a few weeks ago.

They’re actually feeling ok right now @TriednTrue mate.

A dull pain appears usually when I’m doing something innocuous or throwing the kids about.

You just have that feeling that shit can fall apart. Instinct some would say.

Next block will give them a rest as bench frequency is reduced

The upcoming rest sounds timely. Do you do any rotator cuff exercises, such as external rotations or band pull-aparts? For pushing moves to not wreck my shoulders, I have to do three out of four movements each week; any combo of face pulls, rear delt flyes, pull-aparts or external rotations (horizontal and vertical) keeps my shoulders together and even feeling good.

I don’t @TriednTrue mate. I don’t even warm up ffs :joy:

I’m going to add in pull aparts daily as I gave a PT client the band I usually use and coincidentally, got it back today

Haha the boomerang band is quite timely. It took a couple weeks of low-ish volume for pull-aparts to take effect for me. Hopefully they’ll help sort your shoulders too.

That 12 weeks of Mass Template under the belt

Went from 95kg for 1 to 105kg for 3 on the safety bar squat

90kg for 2 to 95kg for 3 on the bench

Could have easily pushed these harder I feel however I’m enjoying the slow approach. No rush. I’m in this for the long haul

Start up Grey Man next week. Looking forward to mixing it up a little.
