4 x 8 week is a killer

Had to grind a few reps out however those are the fuckers which bring home the bacon

Actually struggled with one set of bench because some guy started talking about Tango & Cash, causing me to start thinking about random quotes from the movie :man_facepalming:

I’ve dropped the calories this week.

When I say dropped I mean CarbonDiet has dropped them. I felt it today. Keep thinking about @T3hPwnisher’s mantra about undereating/overtraining.

With that in mind I sneaked a cheeky chocolate bar (Yorkie) in before bed.

Yeah I try to go by feel right now since I’m not aiming for crazy lean. If I’m too hungry I’ll eat. If I don’t look like I lose, I’ll eat less. Pretty sure you deserved that bar :stuck_out_tongue:

Also your lats are starting to pop out from the front, now this is great!

Cheers @aldebaran mate, yes it’s RPE however I never actually filled it in. They’re the RPE ratings from a few weeks ago :man_facepalming:

I’m halfway through Supersquats as we speak and starting to get the itch again.

60kg isn’t nothing man, any weight is serious if you do enough of it.

It’s defo a good starting point @dagill2 bud. Plan to add biscuits on and take it slow over time.

I dropped a post on @theBird ’s thread regarding his critique and it’s left me feeling kinda guilty

However I’ve always been opposed to this idea of seeking advice on a forum regarding working out, unless it’s exercise specific for example.

One of the most beautiful things about the iron game is how much you learn about yourself.

How you react to certain exercise

How you cope with the stress of a workout

How you fit it all into your life and put it all together

The key to it all is self experimentation

To need to figure out what the fuck you want to do and have at it.

I never read a book then do a program. I find the bare bones of the program, do it for a few weeks THEN read the book. That way I’ve bought into it and know exactly what every fucking detail means because I AM DOING IT.

No one ever made gains getting validation on a forum/social media. They get them by going all fuxking in on a program and figuring it out for themselves.

What I’m ultimately trying to say here is JUST FUCKING GO FOR IT.

Apologies to @theBird if I came across a bit of a dick. He’s a genuinely nice guy who has posted pics on the past revealing a ripped physique. I always wonder why these guys are never happy however such is the nature of humans
