Kept the HR down however the heat is stifling over here. Felt harder than it should have been
Nothing wrong with setting that kind of goal - all about recognising where you are in your life at the moment and making sure that they’re achievable. Can always change it up as and when things become easier.
So much potential if you can get those three sessions in, people overcomplicate things most of the time.
Picture her behind you and you’ll pedal faster. Then you’ll finish sooner and she won’t be mad, which will lead you to pedal slower, making her mad, making you pedal faster, and, thus, tearing a hole in the matrix.
The sad thing is that I’ve actually utilised a similar tactic.
Pedalling furiously while comparing everything I’ve done in the day to what she’s done😂

Doggone, but I feel ya. I made my best strength gains lifting just twice a week with a couple cardio sessions thrown in. Maybe reduced frequency for a little while would enable you to meet your goals and simultaneously turn down the rage to simmering hostility?
Not to be purposefully disagreeable, but I feel the opposite. I’m happier and less abusive to the others every day I’m active, so I’m better off with more frequency even if it’s really short sessions

This a million times man.
If I don’t get to the gym then I am like a bear with a sore head, for the start of the day at least.
I had intended to rattle this out yesterday however my daughter had a nightmare on Sat morning and woke the whole house up with this blood curdling scream.

Purposefully disagreeing because your experience opposes mine is perfectly acceptable.
I’m a statistically (in)significant four years older, and the relatively senior age has mellowed my harsh. I never thought the golden years would come so soon.
And of us three, I’m the only childless and unmarried/not living with a woman man, so my experience here carries the least weight.

The ones in my daughters room suggest they do, albeit they’re stuffed!

Good question which I can’t give you a definitive answer to.
Basically it’s keeping the HR at 180 - your age. Seems to be effective in building an aerobic base and is touted by many, including Dan John which I just found out after searching for information on here
