420 JUAREZ VALLEY BURPEES
Had to do this one again
Great workout
Iām confused what Juarez Valley burpees are? Surely you need to break the burpees up with something else? Otherwise itās just doing 420 burpees.
Thereās a 30 second rest period between the burpees
Giving it a cool name and a mental breakup of reps makes doing 420 burpees more tolerable. Thatās what Iāve found, at least. (Granted, the most Iāve done in a session is 250, but I assume this holds true at higher numbers).

(the workout is 20,19,18,17,16ā¦.1 of 6 count burpees with 5 pull-ups, 10 pushups, 15 squats between each set)

Very doubtful man because Iāve been neglecting aerobic work as of late
Well 20 mins of constant exercising is aerobic in my book ![]()
Fair enough however my HR was way above 150 for a large portion of that workout ![]()
Indeed if you mean long duration work, and getting your body used to long bouts of effort like Tactical barbell and its long 50-70% heart rate runs, it isnāt the same. But donāt fret over it, this still works your aerobic pathway and endurance, trust me (even if not as much).
Itās not because your HR goes over 150 that itās not aerobic. Remember that usually max HR is achieved during aerobic power workouts like a 2K row (I was at 190-200 for 3 minutes straight)
Are those double KB front squats or presses? Iām loving both lately. I find doing the double KB front squats with 22 kg bells plus a weight vest (so about 140 lbs total) to really be tough! Iāve been capping them at 5 sets of 5 when included in a circuit.
