Strong and Conditioned (ChongLordUno)

Sorry man I misinterpreted your question and got out with some cheesy answer :anguished:

The goal!

I don’t know.

Fatigue resistance and becoming hardened both mentally and physically to hard work.

My mindset has developed this last year and this programming has done wonders for me mentally.

Plus I feel like I’m laying new tissue.

I met my neighbour last night after work and the first thing he said to me was ā€˜you’re looking jacked’ . Felt awesome man

Nothing like a compliment to make you feel like a sexy rooster.

@simo74 @dagill2 for slight derail here, Brian would have been what we call a government contractor with the military. He wasn’t actually in the military but worked with them.

He is very vague when he talks about his past, either way I guess he still had to do some sort of training. It’s not my field of expertise though.

In the EliteFTS podcast that he’s a guest on, he does a little potted autobiography that gives some details of his background and explains why he can’t give more details of other parts.

He probably had to sign away some of his ability to speak about the work, understandably so. I do remember a brief portion of one of his YouTube videos a while back where he addressed someone that had said something unkind about his wife’s lifting and basically said ā€œlook dude, I used to hunt people for a living. Don’t start this game with meā€. What a terrifying prospect to be on the receiving end of that remark haha.

Wouldn’t one have had to be in some sort of military/law enforcement/gov agency at some point to even get to this point? I mean, the military isn’t just looking for strong dudes who can shoot and fight, right?

Question not necessarily aimed at you, Pwn, I’m just curious about it now, haha.

Nope. Helps, but not a requirement. Just gotta pass selection

And again: government contractor, not military contractor. They often work alongside the military, but are not IN the military. No oath of enlistment or commission.

Thanks. Was not aware of that. (As I am with basically that entire field, haha.)

BURPEES & SQUATS

Had to go for a second round of these bad boys. They are brutal so must rank high on the conditioning scale

Threw in 25 burpees to help my friend along

@T3hPwnisher you need to try these man.

Do you add weight to the squat or just squat before the jump

That looks and sounds like torture. I’ve got to give this a try.

I’m going to Hawaii for 9 days, leaving this Sunday. Unlike most vacationers, I actually want to thrive and come back better. I don’t expect (or want to) visit any real gym, so I will focus on burpees, pull ups (hope I can find a bar), push ups, and sit ups. Just something to get done in the morning while others are moping around. This is the type of the insanity that I want to focus on.

Nice man. Sounds awesome @antiquity mate

I’m off on holiday at the same time. North of Scotland. Will lessen the workload but will try my best to keep the burpees in there

Yes! I’m heading on vacation soon, too, and I’m bringing one pair of dumbbells and one kettlebell, but nothing else. Also planning to get some work in before everyone else is even out of bed.
