@simo74@dagill2 for slight derail here, Brian would have been what we call a government contractor with the military. He wasnāt actually in the military but worked with them.
In the EliteFTS podcast that heās a guest on, he does a little potted autobiography that gives some details of his background and explains why he canāt give more details of other parts.
He probably had to sign away some of his ability to speak about the work, understandably so. I do remember a brief portion of one of his YouTube videos a while back where he addressed someone that had said something unkind about his wifeās lifting and basically said ālook dude, I used to hunt people for a living. Donāt start this game with meā. What a terrifying prospect to be on the receiving end of that remark haha.
Wouldnāt one have had to be in some sort of military/law enforcement/gov agency at some point to even get to this point? I mean, the military isnāt just looking for strong dudes who can shoot and fight, right?
Question not necessarily aimed at you, Pwn, Iām just curious about it now, haha.
Nope. Helps, but not a requirement. Just gotta pass selection
And again: government contractor, not military contractor. They often work alongside the military, but are not IN the military. No oath of enlistment or commission.
Iām going to Hawaii for 9 days, leaving this Sunday. Unlike most vacationers, I actually want to thrive and come back better. I donāt expect (or want to) visit any real gym, so I will focus on burpees, pull ups (hope I can find a bar), push ups, and sit ups. Just something to get done in the morning while others are moping around. This is the type of the insanity that I want to focus on.
Yes! Iām heading on vacation soon, too, and Iām bringing one pair of dumbbells and one kettlebell, but nothing else. Also planning to get some work in before everyone else is even out of bed.
