Will need to steal this…
Thank you as always my man. This is how the wolf works
Bookmarked for gains my man
Serious question: What do you do when you really really don’t feel like doing anything
For a nice change of pace, try Leg blasters a la Brian Alsruhe:
20 air squats
20 lunges
10 jumping squats
10 jumping lunges
String a couple of those together and see how your quads like you.
I’m not really in this headspace right now
I feel I’m onto something with my programming and am completely invested into it.
I’ve also got a crowd of guys on it as well and think we’re on the cusp of something awesome
Another bookmarked bro
Look after yourself.
This is not a natural state to be in, its a sign you need to address something.
yeah… your log is a major reason I’m sticking it out
I just feel like taking a time off of working out, like a deload, but there’s a chance life might just throw me some so I don’t see a point
You’re kind for not listing 20 reps across the whole workout haha.
I’ll pretend it’s kind, not just forgetful.
I may have misread your post, I read it as no desire to do anything, which is definitely a warning sign.
Victory is Valhalla
Do you have a general goal with each session or is it more of a “I’ve got 15 minutes and this seems terrible” kind of moment?
I did these in the military years back, talked about them a bit way back in my log. Just read @mr.v3lv3t’s suggestion and was gonna share those but saw you beat me to it, haha. I don’t think they’re Brian’s brainchild unless his idea got to my squad leader a decade ago, but definitely right up his alley.
We had to do 20 rounds. 400 squats and lunges, 200 jumping squats and jumping lunges. It was one of those things that, looking back, was pretty dumb. Had to brace the walls to sit down for/get up from shits for a week.
I thought I’d seen them in your log at some point as well.
20 rounds is absolute insanity.
Pretty sure Brian’s background includes some time in the military I am guessing he borrowed a lot of his horrible stuff from that part of his life ![]()
CIA, I believe. I assume similar but different.
