To stretch or not to stretch that is the question?
How often, which stretches, before or after work-out?
These are the questions plagueing my mind right before I rest. Oh and I’m in a bulk phase right now. Goodnight nation.

Stretch post-workout. Stretching the same muscle group you are working between sets can reduce output on the next set.
As a younger fella I didn’t bother with it. The older I get the more I find stretching and warming up alleviates and/or eliminates injuries.

Same deal with me. Then I developed some painful muscle cramps and strains in my back and knee problems.
Now I do a mix of conventional sports stretches and yoga and the pain is almost gone.
I don’t stretch after my workout because I never necessarily know what I’m going to be doing in the gym. I just stretch every night before I go to bed.
Stretching wont make you lose any or even a little bit of muscle after a workout and during the rest days where the repairation of muscles is processing, will it?
