I have a flat right foot, i’ve search high and low on the internet for an exercise or series of exercies to correct this, and the only thing i found was on webmd talking about how there are exercises to rehab this but nothing was listed, i asked my podiatrist but hes not to into rehab, more of a orthopedics kind of guy. i know there are alot of extremley knowlegable individuals on this sight so i’d appreciate any feedback.
Know that im i’ve started squating again and doing other leg work again, i’m starting to develop stretch marks on various areas. I know theres nothing i can do to fix stretch marks that are already there, but is there anything i can do with diet to prevent them? on the medial side of my bicep there are a ton there and i really don’t want anymore anywhere else
I cant comment on the flat foot (aside from some tasteless joke) but for stretch marks you will probably only get suggestions to liberally apply Vitamin E or cocoa butter topicals to the affected area.
I suggest vitamin E so you dont attract flies and repel the ladies.
You can get a large (100,000 iu, I believe) tub at Sams Wholesale.
I use it but still get marks. Whether they would be worse without it, I cant comment.
Stop eating so much and reduce your training volume. Do you want to gain muscle and strength ASAP or do you want to prevent stretch marks? There is no both. Your stretch marks are in the wrong places. I have some on my hips (from childhood) and my lower back (a few inches above the crack)… that’s it.
K, there is a cream, called “STRIVECTIN” which is by klein and becker, very effective at eliminating stretch marks, even old ones. But especially newer ones, it can topically increase collagen synthesis and decrease pigmentation. It is a very good, but very expensive product; a one of a kind item.
Take 1000IU of vit E a day, I do and it helps stretch marks stay clearer rather than dark and obvious. And Vit E creams/ointments applied daily can help.
I also find taking your oils (flax, fish) helps, but I don’t know why??!?
But yes, as other have said, if you can’t get rid of them, then wear your stretch marks with pride!
