SFIV is awesome… I been playing the 360 version since the 10th. But I been playing the ps3 version online with my TE stick!! Those TE Sticks by madcatz are fckn wicked!!

The 360 and ps3 versions are basically identical, but at the versus screen, the ps3 takes 3x longer to load than the 360. [/quote]

Akuma. the most versatile character in capcom universe. grabbing my copy this weekend and see you guys on PSN.

RATE MY PHYSIQUE STREET FIGHTER IV EDITION:

This game is chock full of muscle bound characters, but I am gonna say Sagat got the best physique in the game. For a dude who is like 7ft+ and is clearly an ecto (judging by the length of his arms), he has THE best physique. With the exclusion of Rufus and Rose everyone is pretty freakin’ ripped but Sagat gets my vote for #1. Zangief gets # 2 and El Fuerte for most realistic.

Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig difference between versatile and broken. There aren’t a whole lot of tournies that allow him as a playable.

He’s not properly hard though, he’s just fucking cheap.

And there’s a huge difference between the difficulties. On the easier modes, you can literally just spam kicks/'Gief’s double lariat for the win. Otherwise he’s a rape machine.

XBL name is Ronsauce if anyone wants to feel good about themselves.

Broken? How so? The only real difference between Ken and Akuma is his ability to throw fierballs in the air and really that is a small thing. But thats just what I see.

Well he is alot better in the air then Ken and he has the escape manouvers. I wish they kept Ken’s roll in, but they seemed to think Abel deserved it more.

Meh, I think it depends on the person playing(but I guess that goes for every thing). Ken is my goto guy when someone picks Akuma, well he was. Now its him or Gouken.

Doesn’t Akuma also have non-EX fireballs that act like EX fireballs; that is to say, they land multiple hits and can therefore travel through other fireballs?

Ya but all you have to do is a hurricane kick and you’ll pass right through it.

Hurricane kicks will go through Akuma’s fireballs? I definitely did not know that.

if you can time it right

Yea the red fireball he does will cancel the other players fireball and hit them. Pretty awesome really.

His priority, speed, power, and ability to control range. In a moderately skilled player’s hands, he is . . . well, broken.

His only real weakness is his lower HP value.

Still, Seth is Dollar Store cheap whereas Akuma is at least Wal-Mart priced.

other people ive played online so far dont seem to realise there are characters other than Ryu,Ken and Akuma

I prefer to play as Ken because I like his design and his moveset isn’t all fucking goofy; that is to say, his punches and kicks look like punches and kicks. I simply can’t bring myself to play as some of the other characters because I just don’t like how they move/look.

And really, if a lot of people play as shoto characters, then it shouldn’t be hard to develop a gameplan that works against most of them.
