Still in Honeymoon Phase After 14 Weeks?

I have a question regarding the honeymoon phase. I am on week 14 and keep feeling better every week. I never suffered a drop off and my sex drive, mood, and libido is the best it’s ever been. I am not taking hcg or an AI. Is it possible I won’t suffer a drop off?

14 weeks is probably a sign you’re good to go

What’s your current protocol if I may ask?

When there is a T deficiency the body creates more T receptors that usual because the body needs testosterone to function properly, once TRT commences there are a lot of receptors and a lot of androgens which creates an unnatural high and you feel like a sex god.

Now that there is enough testosterone to go around the body dials down creating more receptors, if you should see a massive decrease in libido and erections, it will be because levels are low or there are other hormonal problems like low thyroid hormones or maybe the in tremendous stress in your life.

The same thing happened when I was iron deficient, transferrin increases in a desperate search for more iron, once iron levels were restored, transferrin decreased again.

I am on twice a week dosing every 3.5 days 160mg

Not only possible but likely. Very few guys experience a “honeymoon” phase. Your response is typical. Sounds like you hit on an adequate dose right from the start. Congrats.

160mg a week or per injection?

Sorry for the confusion. 160mg a week broke into two 80mg injections

When did you start to notice these benefits?

I started to notice an increase in libido around 3-4 weeks. The first few weeks I felt hot and slightly anxious ( could be in my head). It was also around week 3-4 I started noticing my workouts becoming more intense. The libido and sex drive sort of fluctuated from weeks 3-until about week 12. It was still much better than pre trt. My mood during this time also fluctuated somewhat. Everything was better than pre trt. After around week 12 I started feeling amazing ! I am 39 and my libido and drive feels like it did when I was 13. Who knows maybe most of my life I have been deficient due to my insane training schedule and hectic life but everything feels awesome right now.

Body wise I was working out a ton and eating clean and it seemed like I was fighting a losing batter pre trt. Strength was stalled and my body did not want to stay lean ! Now I do very little cardio and my body doesn’t seem to want to retain any fat or water anymore. I was on a beach vacation 2 weeks ago. We absolutely gorged ourselves and I did not workout. Everymorning I would look in the mirror in shock. Veins showing in my arms and shoulders, no stubborn fat around my lower abs and my stubborn love handles gone !

Thanks mate. I’ve just finished my first week on TRT. I’ve been a little moody and anxious, but that could also just be in my head.

I can completely relate about the strength stalling and the losing battle, I’m looking forward to the next few months.

11 weeks in and too many ups and downs. Depression and anxiety. I’m also with Defy and we all know they are bascially the best. Some weeks or days are better. Had 3 good weeks and then hit a wall with debilitating depression and want to jump out of my skin. It’s mostly mental. Some lethargy and sore muscles and fatigue

Are you on HCG or the AI ?

What is your current protocol?

Defy are very flexible to the patient’s preferences, for example for injection frequency and this can cause issues sometimes. For example they know ED is best for most people, but if you tend to not like it they can advise you to inject 2 times a week and you will not feel optimal.

Whether they are the best cannot be said, I highly respected their services as well as other doctors who have different opinions on certain matters.

No I sure am not

I’ve thought about EOD but currently E3days. 60 E3 or 140 weekly

@cp1217 hey put me on caber and t3, but we have planned TRT soon and discussed which injection frequency works best

A friend of mine started advised by them 2 times a week for 8 weeks and he was not feeling much improved. He then switched to 30mg ED and now he feels really better.

I plan on trying EOD. I may even start that shit today. I’m half ass afraid to even pin anymore. Just never seems to be sustainable. I think my dose is too high and the ups and downs I’m sensitive too. I’m due right now for my 60 mg but I’m gonna think for a few if I should try EOD. The symptoms are just too debilitating. It would be different if they weren’t so severe. I feel better now than I did the day of or the following 2 days of injection. Should be opposite
