I have injured myself pretty bad and will probably not be training for a two weeks and when I start back, I won’t be training very hard, depending on the results of my MRI. Will a cycle stop or at least slow down my muscle loss during a period of no training?

It might. But doesn’t that seem like a waste to you? If you can just do a cycle when you get back in the game, why not just wait it out.
Good point! Just hard to see a lot of gain go away.

Tell us what your goals are. Because depending on your goals, you may be able to prevent alot of that from happening. Nutrition is key.
pittycent, I was trying to stay out of it, but…you know how gear works to help you build size, right?
You still have to work out for it to really work.
And nutrition may be key, but if you can’t work out no amount of food or gear will keep you from shrinking.
And make sure you listen to advice from guys that know about gear.

None of them seem to be posting, so I’m giving what knowlage I can to help. Nice try though.
Nutrition during this time. If you keep that on the mark if you’ve been hitting it hard for awhile you may come back stronger with a good recuperative rest.
I’m going through something similar and plan on just feeding myself well and letting the body rejuvinate.

I think it’s cause we can all see you’ve got it under contol…
Just don’t confuse ‘trying to be helpful’ with actually ‘helping’.

Is that a tear JW?
I believe I helped. Steriods would be basically a waste at this point, he might as well eat well and pray for the best, not much more he can do.
cycling now would be a waste IMO. keep your nutrition/supplementation on point and wait it out.

is what torn?
Good advice from everyone. I wanted to see what experiences or thoughts people had. I’m not sure how long I will be out. I should get the results back from the MRI today. I neglected to mention earlier that I was 3 weeks into a cycle when I got injured and thought I would finish it out to try and prevent too much loss. I’ll just suck it up and try to get back as soon as I can at a slower pace.
Thanks
Sorry to hear about your untimely injury, dude. Best of luck.
Not to hijack, but would the recommendations be any different if you were staring at months out of the gym, rather than weeks?
I realize gear would probably be a waste, especially for such an extended period of time, but would HOT-ROX be a good idea? Or Alpha Male or Carbolin 19 for that matter?
Would you adjust your diet in any way, or just keep eating the way you were when you were healthy while adjusting calories down for the lack of exercise?

Carbolin 19 works well for me when I take breaks. I really don’t lose anything at all. I would try to eat clean, since you wont be burning up too many calories. Depending where your matabolism is, is how your diet should be. Just try to keep the fat off. Good luck.

I’ve been wondering about this for about long enough…Griff how do you know if Carbolin 19 works well for you when you take breaks?
It’s only been out long enough for it have about reached the blood level/time frame Cy and BAJ recommended if you’ve been using it ever since the day it became available.

My long needed break was arriving right after the release of Carbolin 19. I got myself a bottle and put it to the test. I took the break at the end of the month I started it (mid april to mid-may). I took a week and a half break for exams/CNS recovery and lost nothing. No size loss, no strength loss(weighted pull-ups increased), and gained no fat, or none noticable. My weight stayed within the pound, and my body comp may have even got better(could be placebo). I orderd two more and now am using it along with Methoxy-7.
Three months was recomended to see results. I wasn’t looking for major results, I was just curious as to see how my body reacted to it. It just so happened to be in time for my break.
Then again, it all might have been placebo. I’m not a “back-off week” expert, so I don’t know if I was going to lose anything without it or not. I still give credit to it because it had a few other noticeable results.
MRI = 2 herniated discs and a low back sprain, out about 4 or 5 weeks…then back real slow.
