Everywhere i have read says for some it takes 2 1/2 weeks to see results and some it takes 4 weeks. I did a full 6 weeks and not a single pound has been added. Since this was my first cycle it has been very frustrating not seeing anything. I guess you could say it left a bad taste in my mouth. I appreciate the responce.
I have a newbie question. I often read that people have to keep cycling to maintain their gains. Is it possible to just cycle and grow and just maintain the new muscle fibers through exercise? Why do the gains disappear?
From my albeit newbie understanding wouldn’t it be no different than muscle you get while still growing with your own natural test flowing through you? I wouldn’t mind going on a cycle after another year or so of training but I’m not looking to start anything that I have to maintain forever. Any input is appreciated. Thx.

Oversimplified: the reason you grow is the reason you shrink back. If you lift weights for a year and then stop would you expect after taking a year off to be at the same point you were when you lifted? No.
With gear, if you are pumping let’s say 5-10times the body’s normal testosterone thru your system you will have a growth surge; when the primary reason for the surge is taken away, the surge ends as well.
Now in terms of maintenance there are ways to maximize retention of your gains. Reading the other two stickies atop this forum will provide you with most of the answer you seek.
Hey Guys I just finished my first ever cycle using test e and winstrol 50mg tabs once daily for the last 3 weeks. Ive got formadrol Xtreme and nolvadex for PCT. How much of the nolva should i be taking and for how long? Also Ive noticed some joint pains while working out from the winnie. Should I get anything to help lube the joints other than lots of water?? Im 6’1 205 24yrs old.

I’m a newbie, but I’m not going to ask redundant questions. I couldn’t find a thread on this topic, so here goes. My supplier sent me a bunch of 2 inch 20 gauge needles. I think the length and diameter is pretty excessive. It made my butt hurt for a few day’s or more. I then bought some 1.5 inch 23 gauge needles and I found them to be far more forgiving to my butt particularly when aspirating.
I read this one article about a guy who said that no one should really ever need to use anything as large as the above sizes. He recommended 1 inch 25 gauge. Unless you have a fat ass or prefer leg injections. I’m about 10% body fat. So I bought the 1 inch 25 gauge for sust and I found that it was long enough to reach muscle at the glut site and no pain after. I guess my question is why do most body builders prefer the long thick needles? I hear that even 18 gauge is used widely. Is it a macho thing?

You’re exactly right, it’s just a macho thing. You’re not considered a real bodybuilder or hardcore weightlifter unless you jab yourself consistantly w/ 1.5inch 20 gauge sometimes you can cheat and use a 23 gauge. Try sticking a 20 gauge in your tricep, it’s drives the girls crazy.
HAH! That’s great eastcoaster! But really, I’ve read more than one article about the how that most of the reason for exhaust pipe needles is the man-hood thing. I consider myself pretty tough, but there really is no reason to punch a hole that large into your body unless your a masochist, OR…your like the basketball sized headed monsters from Worlds Strongest Man competitions.
They are very strong…but pretty fat in comparison to the ripped, fatless guy’s of pro bodybuilding. That’s where I cannot see the logic of huge thick long needles. Seriously, if anyone has a logical reason for them for bodybuilders with low body fat, I’d like to hear it. I am a newbie after all.

I took multiple cycles of the stuff without any PCT or anything and today my test levels, and metabolism are still screwed up!!
Is there anything I can take now that will aid in boosting my body’s natural test levels?? Or at least help me start producing normal levels again? I know I should have done my research on the stuff back then before I took it but as a dumbass 18 yr old kid I just wanted results. Man am I payin for it now!! Thanks for your input guys

Go and get tested by the doc to see where your natural levels are. They should be back to normal after some time off. Even if you did the stuff completely wrong with no pct what so ever.
As for the other questions regarding needle size. There is no way I would stick anything larger than a 23GA in me and I find that 1" pins just arent long enough to get into the muscle.
i just done a all oral cycle wich was also my first it was 3 weeks of d-bol at 35 mg then 3 weeks of anadrol the first week at 50 mg and the next two at 100 mg and finished it off with 10 days of clomid and gained almost twenty pound and pushed an extra twenty kilos by the end of the 6 weeks as i said this was my first cycle so would appreciate any feedback on this

Okay newbie here been reading this FAQ and what not, almost everypage, and there is a ton of great info I made a word file out of it and printed it for a hard copy version. Anyways, I have been working out now for like 8 months straight, have been making a food diary, doing everything I should be…but I am not seeing the gains I would like to see. This site is a crazy wealth of knowledege glad I found it.
Oh I am 29 5’9 165 lbs, when I started working out 8 mths ago I was 178. I lost a lot of weight which I liked and got semi cut. However I lost, what to me at least, seems like a lot of size specifically from my arms. I feel like a T-rex kinda hahha. But seriously, am I old enough to benefit from Juice or are my hormones kicking enough at my age that it is pointless? I just really would like something to kick start gaining some solid lean mass now.
Would a stack of primo help during the offseason for a baseball player in his senior year… neq to the whole roids thing and was looking at winny, primo or anavar…

I have a bud (he’s a T-Nation member too) who gained 70 lbs (He says about 50 of it was muscle and I believe it) in a little less than his first 8 months of lifting. No steroids either. He has only 15 lbs or so less LBM (granted not as lean as me) than myself and I’ve been training 15x longer than him. This proves that proper training, diet, and supplementation can go a long way within a very short period of time.
Anyhow this guy shouldn’t be looking at steroid forums to begin with. Have you ever heard of diet or supplementation?
What about anadrol 50? Is that still around?
