Sorry to hear about the back. Seems like you are still moving some good weight.
Cheers.
It went in the most innocuous of circumstances; playing in a touch tournament bending to pick the ball up. Just a little every day reminder that Iām getting old and things are breaking down. Usefully it has made me commit to doing at least one yoga session a week. No good being (not very) strong if I canāt be a little flexible too.
How are things with you? See youāve decided to postpone Comp readiness.
I had some old body problems too. Starting to feel a little better with my training. Will start to increase the weights in the next block. Wonāt do a comp till the end of the year.

Adopted a dog at the weekend (this was not a rash decision *) and steps are now never likely to be a problem.
- My wife volunteered at the local dog shelter for 8 months before starting her new job and fell in love with one particular dog from day 1. He is nearly 6 and has been in the shelter nearly 3 years. We took to walking him for half day outings for 5 weeks and then did a foster session with him over the Easter Long Weekend. When the Dr cleared my wife to adopt him (she has bad asthma), it was a no brainer.
First dog weāve ever owned and we know weāll need to do lots of work with himā¦but hopefully we can improve his life.
Great thing about dogs is heāll probably improve your life too!

Cheers - Iāve been really happy with how this phase has gone generally. Last heavy session tonight and then on to a higher rep programme for a month which I will be glad of just because the sessions should be much shorter.

Evening session with rugby team involving lots of zombie squats and rows. Ending with a horrible cardio challenge. 150 cals on ski and erg for time.
Easy work for a stud muffin like you
Absolutely not.
My mate is massively into her triathlons and dragged me to her track session this morning. Her coach damn near killed me with what seems, on paper, a nice little session

If i read this right its a bit over 6km of running, most of it at a hard run to a sprint. Definitely not easy.
