Starting AI to Streamline Estradiol

@Madagascarspirit - Stopped Arimidex for the past 2 weeks. Didn’t do bloodwork yet as its been 3 weeks since I have been on e3d protocol of 0.3ml of sust. No HCG yet. This is what I noticed and my observation has been consistent.
Day 1 - Injection day - No libido hardly any erection
Day 2 - Morning - Same
Day 2 - Evening - Libido slowly comes back and erection somewhat normal
Day 3- Morning - Libido on fire and erection on full speed
Day 4- Injection day
This pattern has been ongoing. Do you have any advise on this?

Its situations like these why dailies work for some of us. Injection day doesnt mean it starts to work immediately. If anything what you injected last week is what should be in service, even though you could get a nice boost or spike which may show up in a blood test. If you inject daily, you cut off a bunch of things that may happen from spreading out injections. A constant flow of T and E wont be the reason for your lack of libido and erections. Lets say that injecting every 3 days may be too long in between causing ups and downs. A constant flow should level out those peaks and troughs.

If it were me I would get blood work done on the 3rd day after sustanon shot when you feel at your best.

Its important you include-

Prolactin
SHGB
E2
Total test
Calculated free test

You’ll then know what levels make you feel best.

@Madagascarspirit - You are right. To be honest e3d feels a bit better than every day with sust. I have decent energy levels and sex drive is getting there. Haha, if all else fails then I always know that I will be having great libido every day2-day3.5 of my injection. And I can time my activities around that.

Glad to hear you have improved. It sounds like you are doing much better having dropped HCG and Arimidex.

You’ll have higher peaks of testosterone and E2 injecting every 3 days opposed to every day. This could indicate that you might be able to increase sustanon dosage a little. It sounds like youre nearly dialled in though to be honest. Get bloodwork done on day 3 with your current protocol and take it from there. When it comes to erection quality remember prolactin can also plays a part. Not just E2.

@Madagascarspirit - Thank you so much. Just to understand what happens if my prolactin is high from the blood test? If at some point I want to start the HCG, how should I incorporate it in my current protocol?

I think for now you try and get as dialled in as you can with Sustanon only as it sounds like you are on the right track and not far away from something that could work really well for you. Having a proven testosterone only protocol to fall back on will make any protocol changes more approachable.

As for HCG, E2 and prolactin I’m not too sure how they are all connected just yet but I hope to read up on some papers on the subject when I get time. I never did manage to control E2 while on TRT and HCG which is the main reason why I have come off last month after 3 years.

E2 and prolactin often seem to increase together. I didn’t realise the importance of prolactin levels on erections until recently and remained focused on E2 blaming it for any lacklustre performances in that department. Looking back at my blood work i now see that my prolactin and E2 were always elevated out of range whenever I had any issues.

I know from blood work that low e2 also gives me issues with erection quality but is accompanied by loss of sensitivity and low libido.

Elevated E2 typically give me a high libido but at times softer erections which looks to be linked in some way to prolactin.

I’m interested in the link between e2 levels and arterial wall stiffness as I’m wondering if there is a link between excessive vasodilation and the inability for an erection to hold blood due to reduced tissue stiffness. Maybe a topic for another thread.

You can try and keep prolactin in check using vitamin b P5P never tried it while on TRT

Could try introducing a small dose HCG or run it every couple months just to keep things ticking

@Madagascarspirit - Thanks again. I actually feel way better now. However, I noticed that ever since I am on TRT, the refractory period in sex has increased significantly. Is it because of elevated prolactin levels?

Yes prolactin affect refractory. Get bloodwork done and find out if your prolactin is elevated. Could try something like 100mg p5p daily and see if it helps
