STATUS UPDATE: It’s 7 days later and I feel strong as hell… with one little problem: KNEES/JOINTS. These fuckers have been bothering me non-stop this whole week. I couldn’t decide whether I should just be a man and work through the pain or if I should slow down. I’ve decided to slow down because I don’t want a permanent injury.
So that’s the end of 5-day-a-week squatting. For the record, I could’ve easily done it if I had titanium knees.
see a physio but be adamant that you are going to squat 5 days a week whether he likes it or not so he better do the best he can. ive got knee problems myself but i cant feel the pain until i squat down outside the gym. when im squatting inside the gym i cant feel any pain.
Reaon #1 you have knee pain is likely a lot to do with the fact that your knees cave coming out of the hole. Reason #2 could be soft tissue around the IT band, quads, and crrok of the knee behind, and clsves. Anything gets tight it throws everything out of whack. Hoeever, since you said your knees/low back “always” hurt doing squats i would look at your low back and your form.
Get a physio. Form problems or basic tightness csn be advised over the internet, but sounds like this is better done in person. And tell him you play football seriously–or something–so he doesnt tell you to stop training with weights snd squatting. Best option find a guy that works with athletes routinely.

sorry for typos, phone[/quote]
I’m going to meet with a physiotherapist. I’m going to stop squatting for a week and do heavy Prowler work instead. If the prowler gives me the same pain, I’ll stop that too.
