2 overweight middle aged ladies doing curls and chatting RIGHT in front of the dumbbell rack. “excuse me”
Didn’t ask for what I should have done. Fagit

Someone printed out and left one of those “no curling in the squat rack” pics near the racks at my gym yesterday. Made me think of this thread.

You’re right, that’s such a better idea than standing around sucking my thumb like the beta male that I am.
God I’m such a faggot.
Nice lol.

I thought that the whole bosu ball with weights thing was just a myth. Until this morning, not 30 minutes ago, I saw someone someone doing overhead tricep extensions on one. I literally stared in unbelief.
This afternoon I saw some guy to dB bench press on a bosu ball.

I would’ve lol’d at you.

Locker room bullshit: (I know we’ve all seen this)

Friday, I went to the steam room and saw this ASIAN guy stretched out in a split position apparently stretching his hamstrings. He was bending his hips and literally looked like he was trying to suck his own dick.

Big fat guy with a HEART MONITOR walking around naked. Oh, on the gym floor, all he does is half reps with ridiculous amounts of weight and swinging bicep curls with a belt on.
“Yeah, my wife and my doctor wanted me to wear it just in case anything is wrong.” I was thinking, uh, dude you’re 300lbs of pure fat and you walk around like you’re the shit doing half reps.

Old guy ALWAYS staring waiting for me or any other dude in that part of the locker room to strip naked. I always put a towel on before I take anything else off, but I’m LITERALLY the ONLY guy who does this.

Oh and I’ve always wondered what the point of towels were if all you do with it is drape it over your shoulder and not cover anything?!?!?!?! My gym is full of asians because the area is like a little korea-town or something, and I can’t stress this enough, NO ONE ELSE PUTS A FUCKING TOWEL ON.

Towels are for absorbing water off your body although they can be used to cover up your penis.

I hate those creepy dudes in the locker room too. There is one guy at my gym sitting in there at 5:00 am and still there at 6:30, naked, watching people and no doubt getting off on being seen.

You don’t know how bad it can be…guys in Taiwan seem to start with the blow drying of the balls (and everywhere else) at a much younger age than everywhere else.

They also will walk around with the Goddamned hand-towel around their waist, not the big towel.

Maybe to them the hand towel IS the big towel…

Almost, they seem to have to hold it on though.

My gym really is terrible…I don’t know if this is common but my change room (male of course) has what I call a ‘powder room’ where there are 6 chairs (3 on the left, 3 on the right) situated in front of mirrors with a row of those big lights they have for make-up chairs on movie sets and it’s just for the men to preen themselves.

I mean there’s already still the long mirror with 3 or 4 hair dryers closer to the lockers, so this is some sort of sissy overkill.

ive been fortunate enough to have never seen a naked man in a gym. partly because the gym i was at for a long time had a piss poor locker room that nobody used. though now that im at ballys, im sure ill see one… btw i found the thread

At my local gym, some of the fighters that trained there were complaining that there was a fellow that had been sitting in the locker room for hour doing nothing but staring at people showering and sporting a big erection.

Two guys at the Bally’s I used to train at had the priveldge to borrow a set of chains from someone and were using them to do Military Press. At no point did the chains every touch the ground.

I bet it would be hell to keep that bar stable… might not be bad at all.

If your bar control sucks, sure. The funny part is, it wouldn’t even be hard at all to make the chains deload on the floor even on MP, with a little extra length of chain. But who the hell am I to assume that even 5% of gym-goers know what the actual purpose of chains is?
