^^ Was levrone humoring the guy by going along with this? Or is he missing a few screws as well?

There is a guy I have seen at the gym for the past 4 days that is doing something that I canāt quite figure out. He is either a complete moron, or onto somethingā¦I donāt know which though.
He doesnāt do any reps for any workouts, he just loads up some weight on a bar / machine and holds it in the locked position for a period of time. For example, he puts a bunch of weight on the leg press, locks his legs out and holds it for 30 seconds. Heāll hold triceps extentions with his arms straight (with his sleeves rolled up of course to show off his guns). He does all this on a bunch of different exercises, but always holds the locked position. I never see him holding weight mid-range or actually moving any weight.
I donāt know what to think. I donāt know if I should laugh at him or praise him. My first instict is to laugh, but hey, maybe he is a revolutionary. [/quote]
Thereās this messed up guy that Kevin Levrone interviewed that had a training style like that, he was kind of loopy though. Wonder if it was him.

I think that style could work if it wasnt in the locked position. For squat maybe a little bit below parallel with pins sets at the bottom. Or a curl hold for time with the barbell midpoint in the rom. Or pins set high up (but not lockout) so you try to push thru the rack making it isometric. Like a rack pull so heavy you can only lift it a millimeter and get someone to time you before drop it. This would need to be done while highway to the danger zone is on of course.

Of course, that goes without saying.
that chick has perfected kipping

I was really impressed until I pressed play and saw the kip.
she looks like a fish out of water flopping around.
Iām going to go try this to see how many I can do with this form.
It will of course have to be in a verified completely empty gym or I might end up on this thread as the butt of the joke.

Theyāre pretty easy compared to a dead hang. Iāve only tried a few for kicks. Iām sure itās still hard to do 100 of them but why bother lol.

Get your T levels checked pre and postā¦this may lead us to the discovery that Cross-fit in fact lowers Testosterone.

I will of course be wearing the same halter top and stretch pantsā¦you know for aerodynamic reasons. That wonāt lower my Testosterone will it?
Well as long as your reasons for wearing them are from a scientific and performance perspective you should be fine! Side note, where abouts in NH are you? I have kin in various parts of the state.
never seen pull ups like that, but props to the girl i couldnāt even hold onto the bar for that long.
The best bit was where she took her top off.
Portsmouth
i think a more impressive feat would be to do a single pull up with 100kgs hanging between your legs.
Also looking at the girls momentum it seems like should could be able to do muscle ups- which are dramatically more awesome.
