Squat Form Check

@guineapig @tasty_nate @chris_ottawa
Yesterday I took revenge and repeated the 160kg and a double came out with good technique. Without a doubt I concentrated on the technique and repeated what I knew unlike the first attempt.

160kg (355lbs) The best recording.

I will deload and start a strength cycle.

Yeah I think everyone loses their head a bit with hype and forgets technique at times. Good stuff brother

Thanks,much appreciated.
Yes, I agree that a middle point must be found between ā€œviolenceā€ and concentration. I was lucky that I was with a friend who remember to me the fact of going down slowly and not divebomb.

I think the goal is to automate technique so even if you add hype the lift is still executed well

Very nice improvement! Especially that first rep, looked so much different than the original 160 you posted.

Overall I would definitely say it looks like you have enough of the issues worked out in your technique to start pushing hard on a strength block, so definitely go for it.

One more minor critique, note that out of the hole you still have some forward spinning of the plates, they start rotating forward as soon as you start standing back up. Keep an eye on this and maybe try to figure out where it’s coming from because it is definitely a point of lost efficiency. But again, not one that at this time I would spend a ton of time trying to correct.

It’s hard to see from that angle, but it looks like he is still tipping forward a bit. It’s a 2 rep max so you can expect it to be less than perfect, but it’s definitely an improvement.

Thanks for the appreciation.
I will definitely start the strength cycle by repeating this technique.
Yes, I will have to analyze this rotation as the percentages rise. I am not sure if it is a muscle weakness or technical aspect, but I will investigate

thanks for appreciation.
Capable is a muscle weakness as discussed above. But I will analyze it
