Squat FORM CHECK 340x5

This is max for me with reps… My form breaks down with reps so i figured it would be a good example

That was a really good set of squats. Controlled, deep and explosive. You defintely put a hell of a lot of effort into your training and technique.

Your form is very good. Whatever breakdown i see is an issue of fatigue, not technique. You might want to do some extra work for your quads.

I think they look good, you’re a strong guy! For the first rep, at the bottom it looked like your butt kind of tucked/winked. I’ve heard some people say to avoid that and some say it doesn’t make a difference. That might be something you want to look into! I might be wrong!

Good work man. No glaring form issues from that angle. (If you don’t already) You may want to add a bit of pause work into your routine to eliminate the effects of the stretch rebound and emphasize pure strength. I’m knit-picking a bit so as to be helpful but you’re definitely doing some good work thus far…keep it up and nice depth. Personally, I’ve found that getting comfortable just sitting in the hole for a bit can be beneficial in a variety of ways.

Agree with the form/fatigue - you can see you start to scissor/bend forward a little more on each rep. Look at your elbows and how far back they go each rep. Try and keep them under the bar - this will help keep your chest up and help limit your forward bend

The butt wink is defenitly noticable but brett contrerez talks about how it can be a non issue depending on where abouts your posterior pelvic tilt starts. For you I dont think it is until you are below parallel and that is nothing to worry about. (if you can count on brett)

I think you have nice form and good power man keep it up!
