What help is a stronger bench for sprinting?
it helps your arms when driving i think. I think squats are the best exercise for sprinting myself though.

Its good to be very strong as a sprinter. It gives you a confidence that no one can take away. With more confidence you will have more physical power at your disposal.
Most big boy sprinters are very strong, its why I simplified this earlier on in this thread.
“What does a sprinter who is doing what you want to do, LOOK LIKE? What are his physical attributes?”

My repping on the bench press has gone up loads i did 65kgx10 today ![]()
And tips for bloobird -
now that it’s track season you need to be doing more work on the track than in the gym if you want to be fast, do lots of plyometrics and lots of short sprints for explosiveness

My left leg was hurting slightly at sprint training yesterday so i’m resting it until my first outdoor meet in York this sunday. Where im doing 100m and possibly 200m or/and another random event.
Ran the 100m at York today and pulled my left leg about 60m through the race :S Gonna rest it for a couple of weeks, i got 12.8 still
