Well it won’t hurt to see how the programme does for you. Consistency and hardwork and you’ll progress on anyway programme.
The only reason you get the impression that it was made for american football players is because that is the most popular sport at his gym. Using the principles of his training to get strong will help you progress in any strength-orientated sport.
Be careful with your leg, I think you should look at getting a foam roller, check it out.
Just bought some supplements from maximuscle:
-ZMA
-Promax tub
-Cyclone tub
and a few cyclone bars, will it benefit me intaking these at any time during the day aswell as after training or just after training?
You should have a cyclone shake, or promax shake during the day.
To make sure you’re getting a good amount of protein in.
It’s been said a lot fo times, a gram of protein for every pound you weigh.
You weigh 150 lbs for example
150g+ protein for that day
I’ll be competing on the 8th March for the last of the sale harriers indoor opens

65 for 400m and 13.4 for 100m. I’m 5’5" and haven’t done any fitness work in about 8 months. I should improve rapidly! I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO unfit.
My goals are to beat you :).
lol its on
I’m at roughly 12.5 for 100m now and 58.06 indoors for 400m so ur not far off. how old are you? What were the best times on ur track team?

12.5? Nice, you list 12.6 as a goal above. I just turned 15 one month ago. I reckon I can improve A LOT, like massively, and quickly.
The fastest 100m was 11.11 (lol!) by a 17 year old. The fastest 400m was 53.5, by the same guy.
Got any tips for me? I have to train with my school on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
masterhaichanchu,
A 58 indoors 400 should be 54’s outdoors. You just don’t have any “speed/power”. With it, you are going to be straightening out the curve on the 200m and the 400m.
At your age you can get stronger/faster pretty quickly. I’m sure you have been putting your research in for it.
Yeh, ive got 12.2 before last year when i was 15, now ive just turned 16 and im not sure what i would run in the 100 because of my injury which put me out for roughly 6 months lol
But according to my 60m time of 8.15 id be around 12.6 atm, i wanted to get below 12 this year, hopefully i will now that im injury-free and hope to remain that way.
Im building up my strength at the moment my bench press is now 75kgx1 touching my chest, my leg press is 200kg+ easily and my squat is about 100kgx1. Im hoping for 53/54 in 400m wby the end of the season, i would be really happy with those times.

We’re about the same strength wise, I squat 110x1 and bench 80x1. I injured my lower back and couldn’t lift for over a month though.
Get your benches up to at least 250lbs ( 110 Kilo ), and squats to approx 350lbs ( 150 Kilo ). Start powercleaning, get that stronger too.
Use protein shake supplement, amino acid and eat alot of eggs, milk and meat.
Currently the popular strength gaining templates on this website are “Sheiko” and “Smolov” - both are approx 8 week strength gain cycles.
Your going to end up gaining some body weight.
Your also going to get more powerful and faster.
How long do you reckon it would take to achieve those lifts on a proper program?
At your age, you can do it in 6 months.
Your going to do a couple of bench cycles, sperated by a couple of weeks of maintanance.
