Springbok Analytics "A new MRI procedure that checks your muscle volume and quality, fat infiltration, left-right asymmetries,"

I was watching one of of Andy Galpin podcasts with Dr.Lyon and he mentioned “Springbok Analytics” . I researched it and i came to understand that this method specializes in advanced musculoskeletal (MSK) health assessment using artificial intelligence and imaging technologies. They provide detailed insights into muscle health, helping in the evaluation and monitoring of muscle conditions, injuries, and overall musculoskeletal health.

The use MRI data combined with AI to create detailed 3D models of muscles, enabling precise measurement and analysis. This technology can be particularly useful for athletes, healthcare providers, and researchers to assess muscle quality, identify potential risks, and track recovery progress.

I just found this video about them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wzzga4wZ-dg

Whats your take on this ? If you to advise on this test , who would you recommend it for? your average athlete[18 years to 60 years old indivduals ]? or do you think this is prone more towards professional athletes?

I mean, if you want to shell out $1800 for an MRI added to whatever the cost of this proprietary technology is - just to tell you a number that changes by the time you get home… sure, it makes sense.

A DEXA scan is like $200 for the same thing, except with less accuracy (probably).

Both are still completely pointless. If you’re not happy with how you look, no machine reading is going to change that.
