Late to the party, but let me register my support for such a forum. I have a nice little collection of injuries – some I’ve managed to overcome on my own, others not. I’ve sought medical attention when it seemed appropriate and, with some rare exceptions, been underwhelmed with how helpful doctors have been. I’ve read the articles by Cressy et. al, which have been helpful and informative, but there are still questions I’d like to ask.
The forum, like the scattered threads, does have some clusterfuck potential – people who don’t know what they’re talking about are often too eager to type – but I think there’s a lot of potential good to be gained from it. As has been mentioned, there are several forms it could take.

Fatty, maybe contact TC directly or so (if that is possible) or ask Stu/X to do it? I dunno… Maybe there really are legal reasons involved.
Absolutely! Here recently I’ve been suffering from some joint problems and have been searching threads and articles. I’ve found myself wondering why we don’t have a dedicated section for this.

I’ll see what I can do.

It’s been more than a month.
Is there any news on this matter I might’ve overlooked, guys’n gals, or did TC actually told us to fuck off - albeit in a polite way?

He may just be checking with lawyers and such or talking to the guys on Mr.Tate’s sight who have something like that.
But I think it would be a good idea. Have a some words at the top liek “See a doctor and this is not medical advice etc etc etc”
If they can do it would be great coming from a guy with torn Bicep, Pec, Oblique tears over the years.

Legalese can be tricky… “do this, but not this, except when…” etc…
I can imagine that TC/T-Nation/whatever the true entity is has a butt-ton of work to make this work so as to best insulate T-Nation from any potential shit-storm… which would probably be very bad for business if not played right.
idk. Seems like a very good idea though, especially with the fact that we’ve got an Over 35 forum and plenty of of injured lifters and… I’m not really adding anything to this thread

I don’t get how this is any more risky in legal terms than a steroid subforum is.
I vote YES! This would help a lot of people, myself included.
I think this forum would be a great addition to T-Nation. I myself have come across articles or threads a day late and a dollar short. Not trying to bust balls here, but we all know how well the search function works sometimes (As I have said before, it’s a common Google software tool that they use, it’s not something that T-Nation wrote themselves… but I digress)
I’m 35 and I’ve had everything from surgeries to minor muscle pulls, and I’m still tryin’ to hit it hard… This site is hands down the best source of information out there. It’ would be great if the same caliber advice and information could be focused onto such an important and relevant topic.
I tweeked something 2 weeks ago yesterday. After incline db bench, I must have dropped the weight wrong or something. It’s not really in the shoulder. It is in the trap, into rear shoulderish area, upper chest in to collarbone area, maybe front on delt, and rear delt. I almost can’t tell where it is fucked up. It doesn’t really feel like it’s muscle, almost like bone pain. I had to cut short squat day Saturday, it felt compromised during the movement and made me slightly weaker. I know this is a rambled post, in a hurry and been meaning to ask opinions but have been very busy.
This thread is five years old. We’ve since created the Injuries and Rehab forum (also linked two posts above yours) where it’d be better to ask your question.
