We had open house tonight at the school. I wore a pair of nice khaki shorts since we’d have all the parents present visiting the classrooms and we’d have to be speaking to the parents giving them a rundown of the classroom rules.
I decided to go workout today on my planning period and figured since the khaki shorts were loose fitting that it wouldn’t be an issue doing zercher squats while wearing them.
So I went into the school weightroom and started with the zercher squats. I heard a tearing and figured it was my boxers. Again that ripping sound on the 3rd rep. I racked the bar and felt the back of my shorts.
I split them from near the belt loops to near the edge of the lower hem. Soooo…I had to put on a pair of the varsity soccer shorts to wear since I didn’t have time to run home and get a change of clothes.
LOL @ celebrate… the worst part about that is your mind is going “who cares! finish the F-ing set! dont make excuses!”
I popped the button off these cargo shorts i was wearing while deadlifting, completed 4 more reps and the shorts were halfway down my ass.
