1.5 one armed pullups…yet another weird thing to work on.
Ass hurts.
Damn, single-arm pullups? I can do pullups alright but single-arm sounds impossible - any tips for how one might work up to doing them? (also, can you do them with both arms?)
I was okay with my right hand, but had no chance with my left hand. I stole the idea from Ouroboro_s. Interestingly, my grip/ripping callouses were the hardest part of the left hand attempt, and I never knew I might have a weak grip.
They are actually easier than they look, since it is really a two-handed pullup - you hold onto your pulling wrist with the other hand. Still, it scares old ladies, and Flow.
Hi Flow!
I saw them on Youtube and was surprised at how easy they were. They look freaking hard core though. Rock out a few of those in front of the frat boys doing lat pull-downs.

Ohhhh okay, I didn’t realize you were pulling your wrist with your other hand. In my head i was imagining you with one hand behind your back, pulling with just one arm. I tried that particular version last night on my pullup bar, but it only resulted in my face turning bright red (from the effort) and laughter from my boyfriend - I didn’t budge upward an inch.
I’ll give it a try the right way tonight and see if I have anymore luck.
