Squatted up to 285, a 10 lb raw PR, today, wearing belt, knee sleeves, and wrist wraps.
Felt good, left knee is now sore. I need more foam rolling and a video to check depth.
Did some other stuff, took my written exam for the referee, etc. Good times.
That is all.
You’re boring me with too much detail.
WALL OF TEXT.
Naw, I just took my time with the squats, and since it was really late by the time I got there (due to the ref test taking longer than I expected), I didn’t get much more than squats for singles, a few sets of triple low box squats (OWIE on the hips), some good mornings, and some stretching.
Tonight, I’m planning to have more time at the gym.
Tomorrow morning, I’m doing yoga, and then maybe climbing in the afternoon.
On Sunday I’m getting groceries at Price Chopper. I consider that HIIT. Climbing is fun.
I was just thinking about how I should do yoga and climb and take the art class I wanted. Then I remembered, I have kids. Sometimes I forget

Do you train at RMLC? I once competed in a strongman contest run by them. I live closer to Colorado Springs though.
I go there every once in a while with my friend Paula. It’s a bit out of the way for me, but I have a great time when we do make it out there.
On todays training agenda would be the same as mine I’m guessing…
F*CKING SNOW REMOVAL!!!
At least all of us in colorado will get some cardio won’t we?
That’s men’s work! Actually, it looks like the rain up here has melted everything, and I figure if I stay in bed long enough, it will go. My parents, in Lafayette, got nothing. My friends down west and south are snowed in!
This weather is so weird. It’s like Mother Nature is trying to make up for the lack of precipitation throughout the winter.
btw, my ass feels like I’ve been stabbed in my left cheek. I was just googling some more piriformis stretches. I found a good one. Man oh man, my left ass cheek is tight as something really tight. I don’t know what but it’s tight.

Yeah I’m down in the very southeast of Aurora and we got well over 14".

“Cardio” day
DB snatches 3x8x40/side
BB Snatches 3x5x~70lbs
DB swings 3x10x45
Farmer walks 10 minutes with 45 in each hand
Ouroboro hip stretch twisty thingy - OMFG!!! - 3/side with 30 lbs
10 minutes, 15 degrees, 2.2 mph
You like the hip stretch twisty thingy? Good times eh?
I don’t know how you can walk for 10 minutes with a 45lb db in each hand.
I wouldn’t call them GOOD times…but yeah, I definitely need to do more stuff like that.
I use a 45 lb plate, ours have the big holes in them. MUCH easier than using DBs.
And I don’t walk for 10 minutes straight, it’s more up and down the hallway for 10 minutes, stopping and glaring at people when I get tired…

Powergnp posted a youtube link. They are called windmills. For the life of me, I couldn’t remember the name. Take a look and see if we’re all talking about the same thing.
Haha, that is almost what I was doing, but I was touching the opposite leg instead of the same leg. Maybe that’s why they were so hard. Maybe I’ll try doing them right next time!
