for dextrose, you can get it cheap in bulk if any store near you carries beer brewing stuff. I’m sure there’s one near you, given that you’re on campus

LOL I have a good deal of carbs right now, so 100g from powder is ok with me!

Ok, did the Pump Push workout today. Went up on some weights, and more conservative with the one’s I overshot last time. Pump was greattttttt. And did the Decline hi rep on a Smith this time. Was able to focus on strictly the muscle, felt awesome.

Meals are broken down like this this week:

Meal 1: 50g Pro, 30g Fat (Whey + VCO + Coffee)

Meal 2: 50g Pro, 15g Fat (Jumbo Whole Eggs + Cottage Cheese)

Meal 3: 50g Pro, 100g Carbs (Powerade/Gatorade during lifting, Whey right after)

Meal 4: 50g Pro, 100g Carbs (Chicken + Grits/Rice/Waffles/Toast/whatever)

Meal 5: 50g Pro, 100g Carbs, 30g Fat (Whey + PB & J on Ezekial Bread)

yeah the only liquid carbs I have are from frozen bananas in shakes, carbs are fun to eat as compared to protein which gets boring.

when you add BCAAs to someones diet, would you have them lower total protein intake?

No, but I also think people tend to go overboard with just how much they need.

I have no idea. I’ve never trained fasted.

So did Back and Biceps Power day today. Increased working weights on lat pulldowns, but will stay with those weights next week because I used too much body English for my liking. Increased weight on the T-Bar Rows as well, but form was tight. Moved on to Rack Deads, and the fried my lats. Did 315, 335, and finally 365 for sets of 6, 4, then 2. Solid pump afterwards with face pulls and curl variations.

Also, I know you said no cardio Jake, but a girl who I’ve been hanging out with recently wanted to go for a run around campus with the weather being decent today, and it being the last time we will see each other until next semester likely. So I did run for about 20-30 mins. FORGIVE ME SIRE!

So I don’t try to discuss my goals with lifting and such with them. Plus, I’m not sold on whether having a girl who lifts would be awesome, or honestly the most annoying thing ever. lol
