SPIDEY: Let's Get You Shredded

Some notes:

*Schedule has been stupid hectic lately, and was rundown, so I took 5 days off from lifting and cardio. Feel/look much better now
*Started IF eating kind of. I’ve used it before to get lean, and feel I lose better with carbs in a small window (bro-science) plus I’m not as hungry eating everything in an 8 hour window
*Need some ideas for refeeds, low fat, high carb. I hate oats, so all I got right now in mind is rice and ice cream, though I’m trying to keep dairy lower.

Nice work man, coming in nicely!
As for carbs, ever tried drizzling maple syrup on stuff? That’ll up the carb ante if you’re not afraid of some simple sugars. But it’s a refeed; anything goes really

Refeed ideas: pretzels, low fat cheetos/chips, popcorn with “calorie-free” butter spray (don’t go overboard), eggo low fat waffles with walden’s farm maple syrup, various sandwiches with white bread buns (Rotella’s is my favorite brand).

If you like hot dogs, Hebrew National 97% fat free beef franks make a great “cheat” meal that fits your macros easily, especially on refeed days when the buns will fit easily. I like making “pizza subs” with pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni and/or chicken, ff cheese, on the bun of your choice.

You can also buy whole wheat pizza crusts and make one of those on a refeed day (just be careful not to use too much cheese on them or else you’ll use up most of your protein in one meal)

Regular syrup will definitely increase carbs quicky. The thing is, Spidey’s refeeds right now are probably right around the same amount of carbs he was eating on a regular day before beginning prep. So he’ll probably want to actually be able to savor and chew as many of the carbs as possible, imo. I’d avoid sugary syrups and gatorade on refeeds, use foods that you otherwise couldn’t fit in!

I see. Not really sure how much Spidey needs for refeeds, but syrup is an easy way to up the carbs. If you’re not sick of sweet potatoes, I’ve seen some delicious shake (yes shake) recipes put there. Just my 2 cents

Bingo.

Ramen might be too much fat. Pasta + some good sauce always is satisfying. I haven’t had any pop-tarts in years, so I’m probably IIFYMing wrong.

Thanks guys (especially pwolves, always has the best IIFYM suggestions lol).

Refeed consisted of jasmine rice (seriously love that stuff), cookie crisp cereal, a little sweet tea, and some frozen yogurt. I try to keep dairy moderately low, but on refeeds I kind of give in to my cravings for them.

Bagel thins with honey or fat free cream cheese toasted

Lol! I think I’ve found my niche on the forums, helping plan IIFYM meals ;). I really do enjoy being creative with meals and I take pride in the fact that I enjoy every meal I make; eating “healthy” or for fat loss doesn’t have to be boring like so many people think.
Really good progress in the new pictures Spidey, very noticeably leaner. Keep up the good work Spidey and Jake

Kroger Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper Potato Chips with Kroger plain non fat yogurt as dip. That’s my secret for getting the plain non fat yogurt down daily.

Agree on the rice thing spidey. One thing I do Is I take my rice that has already been cooked.Warm It up with a little bit of water, splenda, protien powder, and a little f/free coffee mate creamer.Mix up and place In the microwave and you have some awesome rice pudding.I’ve put all kinds of add In’s Into It as well.P/butter,Sugar free jelly, canned Fat free whipped cream on top etc.

If It gets to runny pick up some guar gum and mix up a tea spoon In there and It will thicken It up nice.(Guar gum comes In handy for these types of things).Pick up some choc or vanilla creme brulee quaker popped rice chips and dip those little bastards In there.Pure goodness. Also your leaning up nicely In your pics as well, good stuff keep at It buddy.

Gluten free crepes with nutella.

Spidey,
This weekend I splurged and got some gourmet Chicago bacon caramel popcorn.

That won’t fit your macros though.

I just wanted to share.

What’s the reason behind keeping dairy lower if I may ask? I notice a lot of people talking about keeping it to 1 serving per day…
