Apparently austrians didn’t know that…Err…well certain austrians anyway.

See my answer to Zephead.

You are a closet commie.

Or at least you share important assumptions about how life works that are basically wrongh.

So maybe more of a neocon than a conservative. A national socialist if the term was not so historically loaded.

Ha ha…and you’re a left wing austrian nut job. So, thank you.

And my positions that qualify me to be on the political left are?

Please elaborate.

I really want to post, but I feel like when you post something on internet that you might as well put it in the newspaper it can come back to you in a bad way…i.e. employment.

Btw Africans enslaved eachother before “Americans” enslaved them. All most all other Cultures/Races experience slavery for a much longer period of time and/or intensity than what we like to call “African Americans”

Yeah right. African tribe slavery was not the same as slavery in the Americas. So stop trying to downplay it. Go educate yourself.

Well, that’s a relief.

depends on who you ask

Consider these things since the 60’s and Civil Rights.

Crime (mostly black on black) in the Black communities is up. I cannot go in to a black community after dark or before in some places and feel safe. However, blacks can visit and live in a white community without fear.

Out of wedlock child birth has skyrocketed. This is the real cause of poverty.

Drug use is up. Another real cause of poverty.

Stay off of drugs and wait until marriage to produce kids and the chances of poverty go down drastically. In fact poverty is rare if you follow those two things - black or white.

I am all for civil rights and equality - but you have to ask yourself - what happened? The black family was intact
prior to this. Clearly racism is not the cause of the black mans social ills. There was far more racism before the 60’s.

Just how does some guy who may not like black people in small town USA have any effect on black people anyway?

Just a thought. I am curious to hear from black Americans about this. Why do you think things are worse in these areas? Cleary government programs have not helped. Only hurt.

I see you as Americans who happen to be a different color than me not African Americans. I don’t refer to myself as German American.

this thread is pointless. if the memory of slavery and racsism is ever to be “healed” in america, it needs to be forgotten, not be debated relentlessly.

we should broaden our outlook of the world and try new things. i for one am infatuated wit asians. i really want to bed one…

People like Obama’s racist Pastor will never allow that to be forgotten.
Why should it be forgotten? Is anyone pushing for The Holocaust to be forgotten? Why not?

Why don’t we forget about 9/11?

Why are we still holding a grudge?

Changing to Christian masters may have actually been an improvement for a lot of the black male slaves.

We’re rationalizing slavery now? What the hell’s the matter with you?

Nothing. Its more likely that a true Christian who owned slaves, of which there were many, would be less likely to brutalize his slaves than a tribal chieftain on the shores of the Gambia.

“True christian” HA!

A slave is a slave my friend and anything you do rationalize christian masters as being ok people because they werent supposedly brutal is just stupid. It’s not just about being brutalized. There is so much more to how slavery was that will never make it ok. No matter who the masters were.

Brainwashing a slave to believe in a “new and better religion” (christian ideal) does nothing more than break their spirit.

Reminds me of the native americans who were “taught” religion once they were concurred by white people. They were broken. Their culture, way of life and ideals were shattered, broken and built again with nothing but the white mans god. Brainwashing at its finest…
whooaah hold your horses everybody ! Dont ever forget that all races at all times have been slave keepers. Not just whites. And actually often people enslaveed people of their own race. So I guess all of humanity should feel guilty not just white europeans.

Perhaps if you ask nicely you could anally invade one.

If you ask nicely it is hardly an invasion.

Why don’t we forget about 9/11?

Why are we still holding a grudge?

Are the Jewish people angry at the German people for the Holocaust? No…it is remembered as an historical event, and obviously something that should never happen again.

We are still fighting terrorism so it’s important to remember 9-11 as that was a major terrorist act against the US.

I guess it’s how and why you remember said events isn’t it? Obama’s Pastor holds a grudge against white people who live in the here and now. He doesn’t just attack slave owners from over 140 years ago. How does this help heal any racial wounds? He says crazy racist things such as the US government spread AIDS to the black community. He dams America. He attacks the Jewish community…

He’s a hateful racist individual- The more compelling question: Why would Obama attend a Church like that for 20 years if he was not at least sympathetic to Wrights cause? Or, is his judgement that poor?

Either way he needs to bow out of the Presidential race.
You honestly don’t think any Holocaust survivors are pissed at the Germans?

How did you come to that conclusion?

What does that have to do with the fact that you want one tragic event to be forgotten but accept that others are remembered?

You aren’t making much sense. I didn’t ask you anything about Obama. You can’t even answer a question without discussing him?

I couldn’t pass this up.

Because it, along with everything else is about Obama. Obama is the devil, the anti-christ, everythins else in between. He will surely destroy Amercia. Did I mention he is also black?

The sad part is how many many of you who hate Obama for whatever reason, voted for George Bush? who just got done bending over America for 8 years with no vaseline?
Professor X wrote:

We have thread after thread on race, skin color, Obama, etc. The “Obama’s pastor” thread has now hit around 30 pages. Thirty.

Call me crazy, but where where all the threads decrying George Bush for the last 8 years? Or how about Hillary? She belongs to a cult called “The Family.” Check it out.

Or how about even McCain who has Hagee, who had a bunch of extremely negative things to say about the Catholic church. And unlike Obama, who did reject the controversial bits of what Wright said, McCain does not denounce what Hagee said and continues to openly accept his support.

But no, we only see thread’s on Obama words that came out of his pastor’s mouth.

1- ITS THE ANAL INVADER! NOT THE IRISH-ASIAN INVADER, IF IT WAS, I’D CALL MYSELF “THE IRISH-ASIAN INVADER”, BT I DONT, I CALL MYSELF “THE ANAL INVADER”

2- ok…i agree to a certain extent that historic atrocities should be forgiven and not forgotten…but its too hard for us as people to not want the need for “justice” to be obtained, its wit this need for “justice” that i believe xenophobia and therefore, racsism begins. i think we should just consider people from different backgrounds or cultures as people and not as african-american, eskimos, pikeys, gooks or lazy mexicans. so next time…tink before you criticise someone from a different ethnic background, cause you might just be boinking one of them in years to come

3- www.southparkzone.com <— thats the link for a southpark site where u can see every single episode…EVER. theres a certain episode about “goobacks”, its season 8 episode 6. watch it and post back here your opinion…
