‘They never do the same workout twice. By making it random like that the body never adapts to one thing.’
I’d put it another way…by making it random like that and never doing the same workout twice they never adapt to anything at all.
Crossfit?
Looks like Dan John is a member.
There are some pretty good videos on the site as well.
I like his stuff…I just don’t think it’s as random as maybe he’s making out.

I’d agree with that. You have to have goals in mind and things to work towards so you can focus your workouts.
On another note, the movie should be awsome (I hope).

I never do the same workout twice. Every workout is done at a different time.

I just wish they were doing an adaptation of Pressfield’ book “Gates of Fire” instead of Frank Miller’s 300"

isn’t there already a movie for gates of fire? I had to read it 4 years ago for school, and I thought there had been one made, or was one in the making.
What kind of benefit would that sprinting start w/ the elastic band have? Would it make your starting speed faster ?
they have a message that should be used for people who post on this forum lol:
DELIVERANCE
Sending e-mail is too easy. Composing an intelligent, caring reply takes time and energy. We don’t like to waste either.
Before clicking on the link below please ask yourself - and answer honestly - whether you are about to pose a question that can be answered with more effort on your part i.e. are you taking the easiest way out for yourself?
Then ask yourself whether you have any idea what Gym Jones is, who we are and what we do. Have you surfed enough Calendar and Knowledge pages to grasp the spirit of the people and the place?
Whoever said “there are no stupid questions” was wrong. We are not interested in helping beginners, the indolent, or the ignorant. This is a serious place, for serious people. Contacting us implies that you to have done your utmost to become informed through other avenues and experience.
Finally, posting a few respectable workout times is not a sound basis for a membership petition. Potential members must “stand on the porch” because what you can do is unimportant compared to your character. Words, goals, experience and commitment may unlock the door.
If you send a message be prepared for a clear, honest and perhaps abrupt answer.

That book is awesome. One of my favorites. Tides of War is waiting to be read.
