Spartacus: Blood and Sand

maybe it was xena’s outfit but it made it seem like they were smaller than they really were

how many times do they say cock per episode?

I dunno, but I probably would not survive a drinking game.

dood. how have I failed on this show?
Better be on demand.
its def on demand, and for those talking about the cgi in season 1, yeah it started bad, i felt it got better towards the end of the season. i too like this story line, but still am eager to see blood and sand season 2. love how doctore’s wife dies in ep 5 btw, anyone else feel this way? and damn did crixus rise to the top fast!!
Crixus is highly motivated and focused. His rise is also not unlike Spartacus’ in season 1, though he didn’t have to be broken down like Spartacus did. He was ready to go from the jump.

Good twists in episode 5. You knew what was going to happen, but I didn’t predict the way it would happen. Batiatus is not yet the complete scoundrel that he was in season 1. I really liked that they showed how much love he had for his father. It made him into a much more “human feeling” character. I wish I had seen the prequel before season 1. It would have been that much better not knowing how everything shakes out in the end.

Lucy Lawless has great tits.

I can’t fucking wait to see Tullius get killed in Ep6. Seriously FUCK that guy. He killed the hottest piece of ass on the show. It was pretty cool to see Lucretia strutting around in her dead friend’s wig at the end of ep5 though.
X2 can’t fuckin wait to see Tullius get brutally murdered, fuck that piece of shit.

Anyone else liking Lucretia more bc of this season? Seeing how the Crixus affair begins and why makes me think of her less as a shitty wife. And holy fuck at it turning out she had been poisoning her husbands father the whole time and then having the balls to up it and finish him off.

Wonder what will happen to Gannicus? With the father dead I don’t see him being sold to Tullius still, esp after Lucretia tells him that it was Tullius’ wine that ended his fathers life. Is Doctore going to find out about the affair and kill Gannicus?

Wish it were Saturday already so i could know! Will be sad when the season is over though.

I heard that Gannicus is in Season Two - so either he gets his freedom and Spartacus & Co meet up with him and recruit him to their cause (perhaps Doctore recommends?) or he’s sold/traded to another Ludus?

I hope he is in season 2. He’s been a good addition to the show.

there are quite a few shots of swinging cock… srsly… but the tits make up for it… ultimately at the end of the show im indifferent

So what did everyone think about the season finale of gods of the arena? I thought it was pretty solid, tied up most of the questions people were probably asking, I can’t wait for season 2. Great Series.

I liked it alot. I liked last weeks episode a little more but the finale was not disappointing.

Yeah, last week was the real (to me) climax of the show. That’s when all the chips fell and you knew exactly what was going to happen with the House of Batiatus. This week everything happened pretty much like I thought it would, with the exception of Gannicus winning the last fight and then being set free.

I didnt understand why Vettius was like, damn ok you guys win. Here’s my Ludus and all my gladiators, have fun.

Other than that the finale was good. The primus battle where Gannicus rips that dudes jaw off was GANGSTA

Good call.

I thought last nights episode was sick. I cant wait for the next season or whatever its going to be. I like how they tied everything all together.

Side Note: Is that you in your new avatar Sam? You look bad ass man

Yeah, I liked how they had Whitfield’s voice over at the end. That was cool as hell.

Yeah, that’s me. Thanks, my basement has very flattering lighting lol.

Just watched it. Was great the way it ended and they tied it all together. I’m, excited for the next one, for sure.

I liked it. As others have said, e5 seemed more to be the climax in that I didn’t see it coming. Good stuff overall and I look forward to the next season.

THAT LAST FIGHT SCENE WAS MAD MONKEY BALLS PIMP BABY BUDHA JESUS IN FREAKIN SANE!!!

Just seen it, and it was worth a rewind just to see the fight twice. They will have to work hard to top it. But considering the real Sparticus and his army fought and beat Rome for 3yrs and in the end one of his Germanic LT’s split off from him. They have a lot of material to work off of.

This program is/was amazing.

Violence, sex, some real Shakespearean villainy, people fucking all over the place, guys being stabbed up, men doing hammer curls with logs in the midday sun, some bro getting with his bros ho, loads of swearing ‘cunt’ and my favourite quote (sounds perverted out of context) “I’ll fuck your corpse.” “With what cock” “mwahahahahaha!!!”

I can’t wait for the next series, shame John Hannah’s character had to die…
I hope Ashur is very scheming and is a central villain, I love to hate him whereas that ‘Legatus’ character I just hate.

Shame that Andy Whitfield has had his problems, I hope to see him well again.
